Doyin Okupe thanks those who welcomed Peter Obi in Edo State today - Gist Cent

Dr. Doyin Okupe has taken to his official Twitter account and thanked those who welcomed the APC presidential candidate, Peter Obi, today in Edo State.

Sharing the tweet that elicited reactions, the Nigerian politician stated that he has never seen an outpouring of love in politics like the one he witnessed today. 

Doyin Okupe stated that people poured out in Auchi, Uromi, and Benin City and waited under the sun for a long period of time. and that Peter Obi had to beg the crowd before he was able to speak to them. 

"Today I saw an outpouring of love such as I hv never seen in politics. Edo people poured out in great numbers in Auchi, Uromi & Benin city, where hundreds of thousands waited in the sun frm 10am to 6.15pm 4 Obi. When he finally came, to speak, he had to beg d crowd. Thank u Edo."
