Opinion: Why Tinubu's children should talk to their father about his recent actions to prove his fitness to Nigerians - Gist Cent

It's no longer news that Tinubu is aspiring to be the next president of this country, and a lot of Nigerians are currently behind him. Some are running social media campaigns and sharing their thoughts on why they think he should be elected president in the 2023 general election.

A few hours ago, a picture of Tinubu surfaced online, and his actions got me worried. He was spotted in the pictures kneeling to observe the Friday prayer despite his age. 

 

Some people who commented stated that he is trying to prove to Nigerians that he is fit to rule and run the affairs of the country come 2023. Others stated that he's just being his normal self and observing his prayers. 

 

I don't know what his intentions were, but it's not advisable that Tinubu should subject himself to that. He's a father and a grandfather; such stress shouldn't be for him. 

 

In the few pictures that I have seen of President Muhammadu Buhari praying, he's always sitting no matter the occasion of the day. He doesn't stress himself regardless of what people are saying about him. 

 

I don't know why Tinubu should subject himself to such an act to just prove his fitness to the public, who doesn't care much about his age and health status. 

 

Tinubu's children should act fast and advise their father to be mindful of the activities he engages himself in. What he needs now is maximum rest and less stress. Too much stress is not good for an elderly man of his age.
